The seeds of what was sown at the New Moon in the same zodiac sign six months earlier may now be ready to be harvested at this time. Astrology of this New Moon
The Full Moon will be at 18° Libra 43′. Libra is ruled by Venus and at the time of this Full Moon, Venus is more or less on its own at 3° Gemini (allowing only a 1° orb with traditional aspects).
I think it’s quite interesting that we have a Full Moon (endings, culminations, moving to the next level) in the sign of relationship-orientated Libra and we have many people deciding whether to move in with a partner or stay apart during this social distancing we are all going through. There are even reports that the UK Government is telling people to make up their minds whether they want to move in together or stay apart during this time..
Venus will enter its shadow retrograde phase on the 9th of April when it gets to 5° of Gemini (which is the degree that Venus will retrograde back to at the very end of its retrograde phase). Venus is also currently Out Of Bounds, meaning it is outside of the ordinary orbit that it usually travels along, and this can result in planets acting a little rogue or out of the ordinary.
Venus will remain Out Of Bounds until the 1st of June, very close to the Sun Venus conjunction that will occur halfway through this Venus retrograde period (13 May to 25 June 2020). So, we will have the first half of the upcoming Venus retrograde period with Venus Out of Bounds. Making it even more interesting is that Venus retrograde periods only occur every 18 months or so, and have us evaluating our relationships and values.
Also on the 1st of June, Mercury will be entering its retrograde shadow period, as it will be at 5° Cancer, the place that it will eventually retrograde back to during its retrograde phase. It seems people with natal planets at 2° to 6° of most zodiac signs may be in for an especially interesting retrograde Venus and Mercury season this year.
Back to this Full Moon though. At the time of the Full Moon, Mars at 5° Aquarius will be squaring Uranus at 5° of Taurus. The square is an aspect that tends to bring tension and strife. Mars is about action, energy, and aggression while Uranus is about the sudden, unexpected and shocking. However, at the time of the Full Moon, Mars will have moved past the exact square to Uranus and be moving away from the aspect to Uranus.
What may be helpful is Mercury at 25° Pisces making an exact sextile (a helpful aspect) to Jupiter at 25° Mercury is associated with communications and Jupiter is considered one of the lucky or beneficial planets, so hopefully there may be some good news to offset the tense situations we have been dealing with.
What happens during a Full Moon is sometimes related to the corresponding New Moon in the same zodiac sign six months prior. The corresponding prior New Moon for this Full Moon was on 29 September 2019.
