Full Moons and Astrology

A Full Moon is a lunar phase that occurs when the Moon and Sun are opposite each other. Full Moons are traditionally associated with times of harvest, culmination, and endings.

These endings may be related to what was put in place or started at the previous New Moon in the same zodiac sign approximately six months prior. What was planted or seeded in the dark phase of the New Moon becomes apparent at the Full Moon, when the Moon is at its brightest.

The natal house that the Full Moon is occurring in will give you some indication of what you might personally expect from a Full Moon.
