Jupiter sextile Neptune Transit

Jupiter sextile Neptune can be a highly idealistic and upbeat aspect. There is likely a strong desire to help others, perhaps in association with religious, philosophical, or cultural affiliation. A generosity of spirit towards others and a view that we are all in this together are likely to be strong.

Jupiter is related to growth, enthusiasm, generosity, knowledge, belief systems, and the law. Jupiter is also associated with good luck and traditionally was called the greater benefic (a lucky planet, especially for those born with a day chart).

Neptune can be very idealistic and altruistic, sometimes to the point of self-sacrifice. It can be hard to see matters clearly when Neptune is involved, though, as it tends to blur boundaries.

Planets are sextile when they are 60° apart (usually two signs away from each other). When looking at transits (as opposed to natal astrology), we typically allow an orb (allowance) of 1°, so planets that are 59° to 61° degrees apart are considered sextile.

A sextile is a harmonious or easy aspect that has a helpful quality to it. Sextiles can be useful when it comes to making necessary changes as things tend to work smoother with sextiles.
