What is a Lunar Eclipse?
A lunar eclipse occurs at the time of a Full Moon (Sun and Moon opposite each other/ 180 degrees apart). When the Sun, Earth, and Moon are all in alignment during a Full Moon, and the Earth is between the Sun and the Moon, a lunar eclipse occurs. It is safe to look at lunar eclipses.

Full Moons are traditionally a time of completion, harvest, or culmination. A lunar eclipse amplifies the full Moon’s power and may bring sudden change or bring something that has been hidden out in the open. Lunar eclipses tend to be associated with endings, more emotional, and focused on change from within.
You are unlikely to feel the full impact of this eclipse unless you have natal or secondary progressed planets that closely aspect the eclipse degree (8° Gemini 38′).
What is a Penumbral Lunar Eclipse?
During a penumbral lunar eclipse, the Sun and Moon are aligned with Earth. However, they are not exactly opposite each side of the Earth as in a total lunar eclipse. In a penumbral eclipse, Sun, Moon, and Earth’s alignment means that only the lightest outer shadow of the Earth (penumbra) casts a shadow on the Moon. It can be hard to tell when a penumbral eclipse is occurring. It is not as noticeable as the total and partial lunar eclipses.
Astrology Chart for the November 2020 Lunar Eclipse
Astrological conditions of the November 2020 Lunar Eclipse
The Lunar Eclipse takes place at 8° Gemini 38′, and its ruler Mercury will be in the sign of Scorpio. Mercury will be in a superior sextile to Saturn in Capricorn at the time of the eclipse.
This is quite promising, I feel, as sextiles are an aspect that allows the planets to work well with each other.
Mercury is associated with communications, learning, and thinking. Saturn is associated with restrictions, limitations, and boundaries. It would be hoped that news and messages (Mercury) at this time are reliable, accurate, and have the weight of authority about them (Saturn).
