Astrology Chart of the October 2020 New Moon
Astrology of the October 2020 New Moon
The September 2020 New Moon will be at 23° Libra 53′. Libra is a cardinal air sign ruled by Venus.
Venus, the ruler of this New Moon, is in the sign of Virgo. Venus in Virgo is said to be in fall, meaning that it cannot act strictly as it would wish.
At the time of this New Moon, both the Moon and the Sun will be moving away from the oppositions they made to retrograde Mars. The Suns’ opposition to retrograde Mars earlier in the week was representative of the halfway mark in Mars’ retrograde cycle and is often linked to matters coming to a head in some manner.
Retrograde Mars is moving towards its upcoming square to Jupiter at the time of the New Moon, indicating that impulsive or excessive reactions may be brewing.
The Sun and Moon have not long moved past their square to Pluto at this time as well. The Sun’s square to Pluto can result in intense power struggles or transformations.
Some sweetness to the tense situation may be available via the Jupiter sextile Neptune aspect, which makes us more considerate, tolerant, and gracious with others.
Mercury will be newly retrograde at the time. While not making an aspect to the New Moon, it will be slowly making its way toward its opposition with Uranus. Mercury opposite Uranus is likely to shake things up a little for many.
Overall, my advice is to try to keep your cool. A lot is going on at this time, and it will be very tempting to make impulsive decisions you may soon regret.
