Taurus Moon Transits

Taurus is a fixed earth sign ruled by Venus. So when the Moon is in Taurus, we tend to desire harmony, tranquility, and beauty (Venus). There can be a sensual (earth) appreciation of life and all that it offers, and this can be quite an indulgent time. We are not in as much of a rush to get out and do things but are happy to savor what is right before us. We like to take our time and can be resistant to change (fixed) but are willing to invest time and effort in essential matters.

The Moon is related to our emotions and nurturing. It influences the way we nurture others and wish to be nurtured. Generally speaking, the Moon represents women and our mother in particular.

The Moon moves quickly, changing signs approximately every two and a half days, so the impact of the Moon is usually quite fleeting. If the Moon moves through one of the more visible houses (1st, 4th, 7th, or 10th) in your natal chart, then the effects might be more visible to others. The strength of the Moon making an aspect to a natal planet is likely to be strongest when it occurs when the Moon is New or Full.

Taurus Moon transiting the 1st House (Taurus Ascendant)

If you have Taurus Moon transiting through your natal 1st house, you may find yourself more caught up in yourself at this time. This is because the 1st house is all about ourselves. The 1st house is a very visible house, so you may find that others can see your emotions and needs more at this time.

If you have the Moon moving through your 2nd house, it is not usually a good time to make big purchases, as you may be too easily swayed by emotion.

Taurus Moon transiting the 3rd House (Pisces Ascendant)

If you have Taurus Moon transiting through your natal 3rd house, you may find that you have little time for small talk. The 3rd house involves our day-to-day encounters with others, such as our local neighborhood. This is also the house of our siblings. The Moon moving through here may demand emotional depth, and you are more likely to want this in your immediate and everyday surroundings.

Taurus Moon transiting the 4th House (Aquarius Ascendant)

If you have Taurus Moon transiting through your natal 4th house, you may find that your home is even more of a haven now than at other times. Taurus Moon transiting the 6th House (Sagittarius Ascendant)

If you have Taurus Moon transiting through your natal 7th house, you may find that you are more emotionally attached to your partner or good friends at this time. The 7th house is related to the partner, not just romantic but business as well. Just as the 1st house is all about us, the 7th is about others.  If you disagree with a partner or good friend during this time, you may find it harder than usual to remain objective and not let your emotions overrule you.

Taurus Moon transiting the 8th House (Libra Ascendant)

Any of these topics could take on a more substantial significance than usual at this time.

Taurus Moon transiting the 10th House (Leo Ascendant)

If you have Taurus Moon transiting through your natal 10th house, you may find that your emotions are much more visible than usual during this transit. The 10th house is the most visible part of our chart and is often related to our career. For better or worse, your emotional responses are more likely to be on display at this time.

Taurus Moon transiting the 11th House (Cancer Ascendant)

If you have Taurus Moon transiting through your natal 11th house, you may find yourself more emotional than usual when you are with your friends. The 11th house is also related to groups and organizations we belong to. It is also the house of our dreams and wishes. Our emotional responses regarding these subjects are more likely to be evident at this time.

Taurus Moon transiting the 12th House (Gemini Ascendant)

If you have Taurus Moon transiting through your natal 12th house, you may find that at this time, you want to withdraw and keep your emotions to yourself. This is because the 12th house is very private. The 12th house is also the house of our undoing. It could be that during this time, you are hiding from or trying to evade emotional situations that you need to face.
