Weekly Astrology – 12 to 18 December 2022

We start the week with the Sun moving up toward its upcoming sextile with Saturn. The Sun sextile Saturn aspect will be exact early afternoon (12:05 pm C.S.T.) on Monday and start to fade from mid-afternoon on Tuesday.

Sun sextile Saturn can have us doing what needs to be done with little fuss or upset. There are obligations and duties that we need to attend to, and we do so.

From late morning on Tuesday, the Sun moves up toward its upcoming square with Neptune. The Sun square Neptune aspect will be exact late morning (10:54 am C.S.T.) on Wednesday and start to wane from late morning on Thursday.

Sun square Neptune can have us fooling ourselves. We are not seeing ourselves or situations clearly.

From late night on Friday, Mercury moves up toward its upcoming trine with Uranus. The Mercury trine Uranus aspect will be exact mid-afternoon (3:20 pm C.S.T.) on Saturday and start to wane from late morning on Sunday.

Mercury trine Uranus has thinking, communicating, and learning about the new, the unusual, the revolutionary, and the unexpected.

All dates and times given are for United States Central Standard Time (C.S.T.).

After 6 years of providing weekly horoscopes, I have decided to move away from writing them for the website. However, I will still provide a weekly astrology round-up of what is happening in the skies.

For those interested in horoscopes, you might consider the Astro Babble podcast that I and Donna from Donna B Astrology co-host. We record horoscopes for the New and Full Moons, look ahead at the planetary aspects for the following two weeks and give our take on them. You can find the latest New or Full Moon podcast on the front page of this website or over at the Astro Babble YouTube Channel
