Weekly Astrology – 12 to 18 June 2023

This week is not as busy as last week, but we still have Saturn stationing retrograde and a New Moon to focus on.

From late at night on Wednesday, Mercury moves up toward its upcoming square with Saturn. Mercury square Saturn can have us feeling pessimistic and dejected and our thinking and communications more conservative.

The Mercury square Saturn aspect will exact late morning on Thursday and start to wane from the very early hours of Friday.

From late morning on Friday, Mercury will sextile Venus. Mercury sextile Venus is a lovely aspect that promotes harmonious communications with others. The aspect is exact late morning on Saturday and should start to wane from late morning on Sunday.

Early afternoon on Saturday, Saturn stations retrograde. Saturn will remain retrograde until 4 November 2023. Saturn will be retrograde in the sign of Pisces this time around so wherever Pisces is in your natal chart, you may find that you feel more limited and restricted.

Late night on Saturday we have the New Moon in Gemini. New Moons are about new beginnings. This New Moon forms an applying square to Neptune though, so there may be some confusion or fogginess around these new beginnings or intentions.

Late night on Sunday the Sun moves up and makes an exact square to Neptune. This may lead to a depletion of energy, and we may be fooling ourselves in some way.

After 6 years of providing weekly horoscopes, I have decided to move away from writing them for the website. However, I will still provide a weekly astrology round-up of what is happening in the skies.

For those interested in horoscopes, you might consider the Astro Babble podcast that I and Donna from Donna B Astrology co-host. We record horoscopes for the New and Full Moons, look ahead at the planetary aspects for the following two weeks and give our take on them. You can find the latest New or Full Moon podcast on the front page of this website or over at the Astro Babble YouTube Channel
