We start the week with the Mars square Neptune aspect that was exact last week and which will be in effect until mid-evening on Tuesday (C.S.T). Mars square Neptune can have us feeling depleted of energy or bring on confusion regarding what angers or agitates us.
Late afternoon (3:37 pm C.S.T.) on Monday, we have an exact Mercury-Venus conjunction. The Mercury-Venus conjunction has conversations flowing more harmoniously. Mercury and Venus will remain within one degree of each other until the early hours of Friday.
In the very early hours (2:21 am C.S.T.) of Tuesday, the Sun moves into the sign of Sagittarius. Happy Sagittarius season to the Saggy’s out there.
Late afternoon (4:57 pm C.S.T.) on Wednesday, we have the New Moon in Sagittarius. New Moons are about new beginnings and setting intentions.
Six minutes after the New Moon in Sagittarius, we have the ruler of that New Moon, Jupiter stationing direct. Jupiter has been retrograde since the 28th of July when it stationed retrograde at 8° Aries. During its retrograde phase, Jupiter re-entered Pisces, a sign that it rules. Jupiter will remain in Pisces until 20 December, when it will enter Aries again.
All times and dates given are for U.S.A. Central Standard Time (C.S.T.).
After 6 years of providing weekly horoscopes, I have decided to move away from writing them for the website. However, I will still provide a weekly astrology round-up of what is happening in the skies.
For those interested in horoscopes, you might consider the Astro Babble podcast that I and Donna from Donna B Astrology co-host. We record horoscopes for the New and Full Moons, look ahead at the planetary aspects for the following two weeks and give our take on them. You can find the latest New or Full Moon podcast on the front page of this website or over at the Astro Babble YouTube Channel.
