We’re between eclipses at the moment. We had the Solar Eclipse at 2° 00′ Scorpio on the 25th of October, and we have Lunar Eclipse coming up on the 8th of November at 16° Taurus 00′.
Over the past few weeks, we have also had quite a few planets move into (ingress) new signs. The Sun and Venus moved into Scorpio on the 23rd of October, and Jupiter retrograded back into Pisces on the 28th of October. On the 29th, Mercury moved into Scorpio.
The big news was Mars stationing retrograde on the 30th of October. Mars will be retrograde from the 30th of October until the 12th of January 2023. After Mars stations direct again, it will remain in Gemini until the 25th of March 2023.
Wherever Gemini is in your natal chart, you may just need to grit your teeth and get used to the idea that you cannot rush people or topics associated with that natal house.
From late night on Friday, Venus will move toward its upcoming opposition with Uranus. The exact Venus opposition Uranus aspect will be late afternoon (5:21 pm C.D.T.) on Saturday. It should start to fade from early afternoon on Sunday.
Venus opposite Uranus can lead to discomfort surrounding changes in relationships. We may want more excitement regarding relationships, art, or beauty.
From the early hours of Sunday, we have Venus moving up toward its square with Saturn. The Venus square Saturn aspect is exact in the early hours (2;31 am C.D.T.) of Monday and should start to fade from late night Monday.
Venus square Saturn can have us feeling a little confined within relationships. This, following so closely on the Venus opposition Uranus aspect, means that relationships may be a little topsy turvy this weekend. We might be intrigued and interested in someone very different from our usual type — and then seem to only see the boring predictability of our current relationships.
All times given are for U.S.A. Central Time (C.D.T.)
After 6 years of providing weekly horoscopes, I have decided to move away from writing them for the website. However, I will still provide a weekly astrology round-up of what is happening in the skies.
For those interested in horoscopes, you might consider the Astro Babble podcast that I and Donna from Donna B Astrology co-host. We record horoscopes for the New and Full Moons, look ahead at the planetary aspects for the following two weeks and give our take on them. You can find the latest New or Full Moon podcast on the front page of this website or over at the Astro Babble YouTube Channel.
